Policy and senior decision-makers
Organisations at Medium provision begin to be more proactive in seeking to attract a diverse workforce. Actions might include, for example:
- telling prospective applicants about their commitment to creating an inclusive organisation
- using a range of methods to attract applicants from diverse backgrounds
- checking that job descriptions and person specifications do not discriminate or contain any unnecessary criteria
- ensuring that the recruitment process is free from bias and discrimination.
